Maintenance: Porcelain tile is a relatively maintenance-free product that requires little continuing care beyond regular cleaning. Most cleaning can be done with a damp cloth and a gentle non-acidic soap. More resistant staining such as calcium spotting and soap scum can be handled using specially designed cleaning products such as Miracle Sealants Mira Clean product. Other manufacturers such as Stone Tech also offer products specially formulated for ceramic tile care. Take care to avoid “over the counter” ceramic tile cleaners that contain phosphoric and glycolic acids that could etch some ceramic tile surfaces.

P.S. Are you a commercial designer and need your tile to meet a specific DCOF or other customization? Reach out! Most requests can be accommodated for a small fee.

Each of the tiles are made to order, just for you! Shades of color may be different in person than on a computer screen, so we recommend ordering a sample to make sure you like what you see. Please note, there may be a slight tonal variation from batch to batch, but we dial our production in pretty tight to make sure each run blends well.

A great way to explore our tiles before committing to an installation is to purchase a sample. Samples are limited to 1 per design, with a maximum of 5 samples total. If you’re having trouble narrowing things down, email us at sales@haustileco.com for assistance.
